Daily reset

Add a cron entry running once per day at your chosen off-peak time:

php /full/path/to/cron/daily_reset.php

PHP path

Use which php via SSH or ask host support for CLI PHP path — it may differ from web PHP version.

Verify

After 24 hours, check admin stats that daily counters reset. Missing cron is the top cause of “surf limit not resetting” tickets.
